Comments

Contact forms
When using our contact form, information is collected on your name, email, IP, the page the form was submitted from. Along with your message, date, and time of submission.
We use this information to filter automated spam messages but also to respond to legit messages. We only use this information to respond to your messages. We do not automatically add you to our newsletters.
Email Subscriptions
We use MailterLite as our email list management system. This means your email subscriptions and preferences are stored and handled on MailerLite’s secure servers.
MailerLite has its own Anti-Spam Policy, which we adhere to as part of using their systems. We do not send spam. We aim to send quality and useful content no more than a few times per week.
How do I opt out of Email Subscriptions?
You can stop our emails at any time. To opt out of any of our email correspondences, you can let us know via our contact form. Or by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the email so we can remove you from our list.
If you unsubscribe from receiving our emails, you acknowledge and understand that you may no longer receive information or updates from us.
Google Analytics
Our website and services use Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager as a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses cookies to help us analyze how users use our website and services. The information generated (including your IP address) is anonymous and will be sent to Google and held on Google’s servers in the USA in accordance with Google’s Privacy Policy. Please note that Google may also transfer this information to third parties where required to do so by law or where such third parties process the information on Google’s behalf. Antispam Bee
Our website and services use Antispam Bee to help block spam comments. It’s a WordPress plugin that blocks suspicious comments so that we can focus on spending time responding to legit messages. As well as keep our site clean from potentially malicious URLs or content.

MailerLite
We use MailerLite to provide our email services. Our website and services contain forms created by MailerLite to capture new subscribers. As such, they may store cookies to remember which forms you use. This helps us distinguish the performance of forms as well as personalize them visually for users. Social Warfare
Social Warfare is a WordPress plugin we use to provide services for sharing content to social media networks. They collect information such as how their social share buttons are used. Such as how many times a particular page was shared. See their Privacy Policy here.
Simple Basic Contact Form
We use the Simple Basic Contact Form from WPKube to handle our contact form. This plugin will collect any information you input into our forms. Such as name, message, email address, and date/time so it can be forwarded to the correct email account so that we can respond to your queries and messages.
Cloudflare
We use Cloudflare to protect our website and services from malicious viruses, malware, and exploits by hackers. Cloudflare uses cookies to try to identify these. And stores information that helps it to provide these services. Their policy can be seen here.
WordFence
We use WordFence to provide extra security and stability to the website to prevent exploits and brute force attacks. WordFence monitors blog traffic much like CloudFlare and will use information such as suspicious behaviors or known spammy IPs to block potentials hackers.
WordPress
Our website and services are built on WordPress. As such, WordPress may set and store cookies.

The Pinterest Tag is installed and is used to track your actions on this website. Such as clicks and opting in for email subscriptions. This tag is used for the purposes of promotional retargeting via Pinterest ads.

Gravatar
When adding a comment, an anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. We currently back up some of our data through Google Cloud services. This can include emails, names, and IPs if you’ve submitted comments or created an account for our website.

WooCommerce
When using our shop, you may create an account or submit personal information in the form of your name, address, payment details, and email.
We may also track:
- The products you’ve viewed so we can show them in recently seen sections.

- Delivery address for shipping and related costs.

How long we retain your data

Is my Information Secure?
We endeavor to make our website and services as secure as possible. To keep your information as secure as possible, we do the following:
- We use the security provided by CloudFlare
- We have HTTPS protocols and SSL certification
- Data such as those collected from Google Analytics are stored on their secure servers.
- The same is true for email subscriptions – any details are stored on MailerLite’s secure servers.
- Our emails are directly verified with our host to help prevent phishing, spam, and fraud.
- We do not store any information we collect about you locally.
- Any devices used to access stored data or the backend of our website or services are installed with up-to-date antivirus software and browsers.
- We use WordPress’ inbuilt security, best practices, and we ensure everything is kept up-to-date.
- We use additional security measures with WordFence to prevent and block attacks.
- We use Antispam Bee to prevent and block spam that could contain malicious links.
- We currently use 2FA for all logins use to access the backend of this website.
“Do Not Track” Signals Under the California Online Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA)
We do not currently support Do Not Track (DNT). The Do Not Track is a browser preference you can adjust in your settings that informs websites that you do not want to be tracked.
